The alternative melodies of The Smashing Pumpkins
make them one of my favorite bands of all time. I think that Disarm is
their best song but overall, Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness is the
best album. Their music is not just good, it's chilling. It really makes
you think about the lyrics and want to know about the story behind the
song.
On a lighter note, who remembers the Simpsons
episode when the Pumpkins appeared as special guests? If not, there's a
pic down the bottom of the page to remind you.
There is a massive following of the Pumpkins
of the internet. There's a link below for one of the better unofficial
pages that I found out there but there are also a lot more. Almost all
of them are better than the official one which is a great shame. Still,
if they can't be bothered to make a good page for themselves, leave it
to the fans.
