Association of Societies for Growing Australian Plants (ASGAP) This is a very comprehensive site with heaps of pictures and information on Australian native plants. Areas of interest:

• A species guide with pictures, descriptions, distribution maps and info on name changes.
• Information on native plant propagation.
• A gallery of many native species.
• One of the biggest and best gardening/nature link pages.

Australian National Botanical Gardens (ANBG) Another extremely comprehensive site with the biggest searchable gallery of native plant photos you'll find. It also has loads of information on the various native species along with heaps of good links.

Fact Sheets on Trees Information on the propagation, selection and growing of trees.

Glossaries of Botanical Terms A site providing links to the definitions of botanical terms.

Conservation and Land Managment (CALM) The main area of interest is FloraBase, which is an extensive searchable database of native plants. It provides descriptions, distribution maps and photos that show flowers, nuts, bark, leaves etc. (To get level 1 access, use "visitor" with "fbguest" as the password).

Gardening Australia A website based arround the ABC TV show. It has many useful fact sheets that cover all areas of gardening.

Burkes Backyard The TV programmes website. Again, lots of fact sheets that cover all areas of gardening.

Kings Park and Botanic Gardens (in Perth) Lots of info on native plants and wildflowers.

Birds Australia One of the best Australian bird websites, lots of info and links.
