"Nurturing Nortons" offers its counselling service to help clients deal with challenging issues they may be experiencing and/or to identify new life opportunities. The counsellors, Kevin Norton and Loretta Ginnivan, are members of Nurturing Nortons, a training and personal development organisation which has been serving the community for 10 years.

Kevin Norton, the manager and principal trainer of Nurturing Nortons, is a qualified teacher, trainer and public speaker. He holds qualifications in counselling, administration, economics and marketing. His background is in the public service, business and community organisations where he held leadership responsibility at NSW/ACT level.
Kevin leads a team of qualified, experienced and talented trainers. In addition, he privately tutors a wide range of people of almost any age in subjects such as public speaking/presentation skills (21 years experience), interviews, career preparation, spelling, reading, plus basic maths and english.
He is a member of the Australian Association of Career Counsellors(AACC).

Loretta Ginnivan holds a Master of Theological Studies, a Graduate Diploma in Community Counselling and a Diploma in Family Ministries. She is also a certified Enneagram teacher. Loretta's experience includes relationships and family counselling at the Centre for Family Ministries at the Jesuit University in Manila, Philippines. She has worked as a volunteer counsellor with Parentline in the ACT.
In addition, Loretta has provided counselling to women experiencing post-natal depression, some of whom were immigrants with cultural issues adjusting to life in Australia.
For counselling relating to personality differences, Loretta uses the Enneagram, an extremely effective personality typing system.
Loretta is an active member of the Counselling and Psychotherapy Association of Canberra and Region (CAPACAR).
