This site is AWESOME!! I was promised and am presently waiting for a position as a caterer on an oil rig. I found the offshore training very interesting and am ready to go! I am looking forward to this adventure, and find your pictures very helpful. They sure make this adventure, for me, very real!

i am just away to work on the forties delta as roustabout, i have never worked on the rigs before but have spent the last ten years in the merchant navy as AB, i dont suppose you have any pictures of the forties delta by any chance. the pictures you do have though of the other rigs are superb. thanks for the insight. My son-in law experienced a severe storm off the coast of Mexico back around 1995..The barge that he was on,went down, but he loves his work so much, he's still back out there again,after over 20 yrs in that type work.I love to hear about his work in the oil-field industry.This websight is very educational.
