Why the J ?

Almost at the end of its days, our old Fiat tractor has worked hard to bring our dreams to fruition. The orange tractor shares its birth year with one of us, and is our modern-day workhorse...if you can call a 1964 model modern.

But, why the 'j' you ask? It's Dutch for Orange and it reflects the international input into the wine from our regular stream of guests called WWOOFers .

No, they're not the 4-legged variety. They are 'Willing Workers on Organic Farms' and we host them on our farm in return for their help to produce the crop. They help us to prune, weed, water and join us for the fun of harvest on our 3 hectare vineyard on the pristine southern coast of Western Australia.
