To contribute to the prevention of crime in Western Australia by:

• Raising awareness of crime prevention issues and priorities;
• Disseminating objective information about crime prevention;
• Showcasing successful crime prevention strategies and initiatives; and
• Being an independent and impartial voice on matters of crime prevention.

Respect
We acknowledge the diversity of opinions on the subject of crime prevention and respect the holders of opinions different to our own.

Independence
We value and uphold the status of the Council as an independent, voluntary organisation committed to providing impartial and unbiased perspectives on matters relating to crime prevention.

Evidence
We support the value of research in the area of crime prevention and the adoption of crime prevention strategies based on the research evidence.

Sharing
We value the importance of shared knowledge and information between those with a commitment to crime prevention.
