My
first published novel,
Fly
By Night, was published in 2004 by Homosapien Books. It was
nominated
in the Ned Kelly Awards for the "Best First Crime Novel" for that year.
Jeff Popple's
review of Fly By Night
appeared in The Canberra Times on Sunday 4th April 2004. He said:
‘These nicely
paced stories combine
appealing characters, mystery, social commentary and a touch of humour
in a readable mixture that maintains the right balance between
entertainment
and reflection. Fresh and enjoyable, the book also makes an interesting
change from the familiar, and usually predictable, mainstream
crime-fiction
offerings.’
Homosapien
Books has sinced closed down. The
Bookshop in Darlinghurst still has copies for sale.
Or you can
buy it from me, along with the CD, Plunge, by About Six Feet, that
inspired
and appears in the novel!

Witch Honour
was first written
as
Witching Ways. It was short listed for the George
Turner Prize
in 1998. After I'd learned a bit more about writing, I edited it down
by
about a quarter, retitled it Witch Honour and continued sending
it out. In 2004, it was accepted by the US publisher, Five Star
Speculative
Fiction, and published in a Hardcover volume in January 2005.
My thanks to John
Helfers, of Tekno
Books, who was so helpful throughout the process, and Pat Estrada, who
edited and gave me such warm and encouraging feedback!
And of course, love
and thanks to
my husband, Tim Richards, and to Jehni Thomas-Wurth and Yvon Hintz, my
two muses in the creation of the world and people of this book.
Witch Honour
is out of print, but second hand copies are available through
Amazon.com:

Witch Faith is
the sequel
to
Witch Honour. It was written the year after the
first book was
completed, and entered into the George Turner Prize in 1999, where it
was
short listed. In 2005 it was accepted by the US publisher, Five Star
Speculative
Fiction, and was published in a Hardcover volume in February 2007.
Once more, my
thanks go to John Helfers
of Tekno Books and Pat Estrada, as well as my muses - Jehni and Yvon,
and
my husband Tim.

strong female characters
and a gracefully told story." The Library Journal says.
"A mixture of
fantasy and science
fiction, Witch Faith accomplishes what both genres do best -- provide
an
entertaining stage to view the world from a fresh perspective. Ms.

fall into life-threatening situations... an excellent read." Robin Lee,
Romance
Reviews Today.

fantasy with
violence and dark tones... The author has built an intricate world,
with
its mix of religious beliefs and culture clashes" Pam, Love
