Kayjun have called it a day!
Yes, the rumours are true. With the leaving of Daniel a few months ago, Kayjun have had tried to work without him and have found that it just hasn't worked out. We have therefore decided to call it quits for Kayjun after about 4 and a half years.

The guys however are not sitting idle.

Mark and Alan have decided to form up once again with the help of Wayne Panamarenko (late Kayjun bassist) and newcomer Richard to head in a new direction with a Tool/Seven Dust/Limp Bizkit/Linkin Park twist. Their name is yet to be announced.
Watch out for them, this is a guaranteed Perth band sensation in the making.
Alan, Mark and Wayne can be contacted at agibson@iinet.net.au

Anthony has switched his guitar for a bass, and is playing for the instrumental progressive rock band, Syzygy.
Anthony can be contacted at paravoid@iinet.net.au

Daniel and Dave are lying low at the moment, but we are sure they will return to the Perth scene one day.
Daniel can be contacted at dmarinescu@ozemail.com.au

The site www.kayjun.com will be shut down at the end of this month. However, the pages will still be accessible from www.iinet.net.au/~paravoid, though it will not be updated.

The guys (Mark, Alan, Daniel, Dave, Wayne and Anthony) would like to thank all of the people that have ever supported us during our time as Kayjun. There have been small gigs (like the Nollamara Tavern) and big gigs (such as Metropolis City and the Babylon) and it was the support we got from everyone that made all the tough work worthwhile.

We are both sad yet excited at the same time as we all head for new horizons. As for Kayjun, don't throw those CDs out! They are our mark on Perth music history. They also DO have some great songs on them :)

That's the final word from Kayjun, we'll see you out there!
