The personnel carrier was purchased by the brigade with funds from brigade activity such as burnoffs. The personnel carrier is a support vehicle, used to transport extra hose and other equipment and personnel. The PC is also used for roadblocks and brigade activity not requiring the presence of appliances. In an emergency this can also be used to set up a fire fighting operation running directly from water mains.
