| BIO: | Synthesist are a 5 piece band hailing
from Melton, in Victoria's west. Forming in April 2000, Synthesist
have gone through numerous lineups and stylistic changes until almost
3 years ago settling on the lineup as it stands today. Since then, Synthesist has gone on to make their mark on the Melbourne/Australian metal/hardcore scene, performing alongside all of Australia's top heavy acts, including; Mindsnare, Devolved, Frankenbok, Daysend, I Killed the Prom Queen, In Name and Blood and numerous others. In late 2004 they also released a demo/ep which recieved critical acclaim on the airwaves with "Undying" being one of the most requested tracks on local/underground radio. Synthesist have also gone on to be reviewed both live and on cd with a great response in Australian music magazine, Kerrang! Synthesist are also about to undertake their first interstate touring, with shows in Adelaide and Brisbane. Currently Synthesist are writing material for their debut album, whilst maintaining a healthy gigging schedule.
