We welcome into membership:

Persons born again through the Holy Spirit and baptised as believers in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and who give evidence of their faith in daily life.

In exceptional circumstances where liberty of conscience is involved, the Leadership Team may recommend to the Members’ Meeting that an applicant be received into membership who meets the requirements above but who as a believer has not confirmed his/her baptism.

Each applicant for Church membership must accept the Statement of Principles and Faith and abide by the Constitution.

There are privileges and obligations that go with membership:

Members are expected to live according to the principles of the Bible.

Members are expected to support the work of the Church by:

• praying
• attending worship services
• engaging in service for Christ through the Church
• sharing in government of the Church through attendance at Members' Meetings, and
• financial giving as God enables.

To become a member, a person wanting to join the Church should apply to the pastor(s) or in the absence of pastors, the chairperson of the Church.

• A person who is baptised in the Church is offered membership at that time.
• A person transferring from another Baptist church would present a letter of recommendation from that church.
• For those transferring from another Baptist church and other applicants, excluding those applying under (i) above, a pastor or chairperson appoints two members to meet with the applicant concerning their participation in the Church.
• Except in the case of those applying under 6(a)(ii) above, a decision on the application is to be made by either the Leadership Team or the Members’ Meeting, whichever occurs first.In all cases, the names of all new members are to be reported to the next Members' Meeting.
