Ferrets are now starting to get more favourable publicity. Recently The West Australian Magazine ran an article featuring WAFFS members. Ferret club life member Dianne Rohowicz (left) was pictured with David and Mischief.

To most people ferrets stink! Mind you if you didn't wash you would stink too & your dog - cat - mouse - rat - chook or what ever pet it is you have. Its up to you to treat your pets right not Joe Blow next door!. But truly ferrets do have a musk smell to them, some find it offensive others don't notice ! The male ferret (the larger of the breed) tends to be on the nose if unsterilised but once they are done no worse than any other pet that i have had. Heaps more fun though !
