Day 14 was spent doing last minute shopping. I’m still cursing at not having taken full advantage of the great quality, but cheap goods. Now I’ll definitely have to go back!!

Day 15 saw Kevin, Garry Maynard and myself head out to the airport for our flight to Singapore. Whilst it was great to go through the formalities, with no hassles coming into Saigon, leaving is a much longer and slower process. Wayne and Pat stayed on for some extra days. ( the place really does get to you )

Day 16 saw Kev and I arrive back home in Perth at 1.30 am. 
We were both tired and in my case a bit crook. I think it was from too much of Vietnams luscious fruit, and nothing at all to do with anything refreshing from the bars!!!!

In summary the trip was a fantastic and memorable experience, already I am planning to go back, not necessarily for the battle sites , but to go up north. I would most definitely  recommend the trip and in particular, BATTLE TOURS, to anyone, and would be only too pleased to pass on further information.
