RESCHEDULED AGM - URGENT Updated: 22nd July 2007 ATTENTION TO ALL SBSC MEMBERS - IMPORTANT: You all should have been aware that the South Burnett Speedway Club’s Annual General Meeting was held on Tuesday the 17th of July. The meeting was attended by a few more than usual members that attend the monthly club meetings and we thank them for that. In saying that, it was a big disappointment to the current committee that not more members were present. As previously advised, the current committee has stood down from their current positions. We all need a break from the constant running of a club as we all have personal & work commitments. At the AGM no one nominated or volunteered for any position within the club so the only option we now have is to reschedule another AGM for Tuesday 7th of August at 7.30pm at the Luncheon Hall, Kingaroy Showgrounds. This is the most important meeting for the South Burnett Club for many years. Basically, if no one stands in & take the positions, THERE WILL BE NO CLUB, which means NO RACE TRACK to race at in Kingaroy. A lot of you just slide through all season, and if there is a hamburger to eat for tea & a track to race on, it doesn’t matter to you how it all happened... as long as it did! It is now time for you all to step up and decide if you want a club & a track in Kingaroy. If your answer is YES then we suggest you all take the time to think about these positions & attend the next meeting.
