Bought the Le Mans today (15 April), pick it up from Sydney on Monday. Got my bike licence in SA when I was 16, owned my first bike at 19. Bought an R60/5 new in 1973 and it 'grew' several years later. Have owned several road/trail/mx and enduro bikes. Competed in mx, enduro and short circuit. Enjoyed it heaps but never really did any good. First aspired to owning a Guzzi when I saw an S3 in the 70s. Was really sold on the Le Mans when I rode a mate's Rosso Corsa for over 100 km on the way to the Ulysses AGM in Geelong. Got home, looked at the Ulysses 'for sale' ads and there was a Le Mans staring me in the face. Was that fate or what? Married, 3 grown up kids, work as an avionics engineer.

Like the Guzzi for fast rides and the 750 triples for cruising. Do some track days.I compete in aerobatic competitions in my Russian YAK55 aircraft. Also own a Cessna 210 aircraft. Compete in clay target shooting sports.

A big fan of twin cylinder non-chain driven motorbikes. Have Harley for relaxed long distance cruising and old boxer BMW with vague plans for a chair and the Italian delight for when the journey is more important than the destination. Have been an Italophile since first started riding and owned the Lemon since 1989. A serious restoration completed mid-nineties and now re-awakening the machine after 12 months in storage ... gotta love those electrics...

Have been riding Guzzis and the odd BMW since 77. Enjoy the whole sound and feel of the marque. Looking forward to many more years of touring on my bikes.

I bought the bike as a box of bits for $100 2 years ago and I have been chasing parts ever since. I'm only missing a few parts now, a rear axle to suit a T3 wheel and the cone shape spacer for the diff and 2 swing arm bolts for the frame would help the bike to be finished a bit quicker. Yes, I'm still in the building stage but parts would help a lot.

Well I am 41, I have lived in Aus for 10 years have had only 1 bike in that time, a Yamaha TRX850, but have had back in '84 an 1979 850 LM2. Have wanted a Guzzi ever since. Just got the 750 today, it's a 1994 Strada but needs lots of TLC.

I first started riding bikes at 16yrs of age. I stopped riding for a number of years, though never lost my love for two wheels. Two years ago I decided to ride again and wondered why I didn't do it sooner. On a run back in March '04 I met a fellow rider with a Nevada and decided I liked what I saw. Being a female it was perfect in size and weight and it just happened to be for sale.

Le Mans I've had for ages, bought T4 and chair so my 2 year old could come along. She seems to like it.
