I have owned bikes since age 13, raced historics (road), but enjoy riding anything/anywhere (though more interested in something with 'character'). I was introduced to Guzzis by my wife (who owned a MK2 from new)..which I regret ever selling. I'm trying to make amends with MK1, which I am restoring.

First time Guzzi Owner at age 37. Have had every Jap uber-tourer beforehand (FJ1100, FJ1200, XJ900S Diversion and FJR1300). Also, a host of almost-bikes which have been built or rebuilt by myself and family/friends; Suzi GS450, RGV 250 and Ducati 916. Now I only have the Goose and love it more than any other bike I have experienced. It is not a beginner's bike, takes a lot of love to keep going 'well', but has more SOUL than all of my previous bikes together...

I've wanted a Guzzi since the 80's and finally could afford the time and money last year to own and ride one. Now I want a couple of classic bikes to play with.

I've been a Guzzi owner for 25 years. I've owned 3 including a T5 and a Le Mans 4. I'm a ship's master. I went around the world on Le Mans in 87/88. Then I changed the pace - bought a Bellagio and love it. Everyone should have one.

Updated from big single to baby Guzzi (CX500) in 1983 then to Guzzi in 2001. The Cali is very user friendly with its carbies, points and wire wheels and is a joy to ride between 40 and 140 kph. I intend to be riding it when I'm 80.

I spent a long time searching for a V7 Sport with no success - still searching.... During the search I stumbled across a Daytona RS for sale and thought it was worth a look. Fatal mistake - no sooner seen than purchased. Definitely not a mistake and having a lot of fun.

Wanted a Guzzi for as long as I can remember, finally have one that suits my stumpy legs. It's true you don't love 'em straight away but...
