A verse here and there
Many open ended poems
Are scattered everywhereAt the incompletion stage
On hold from yesterday
Entangling with emotions
Where knots seem to stayI am unable to fill the void
Emotions go to and from
My heart feeling shattered
In failing to reach someoneA heart with nowhere to go
Each verse is falling apart
Obviously he had forgotten

Sadness Follows Despair As the sadness drags on
Heart aches still persist
I am choking back tears
My gut continues to twistI kept my sadness secret
No one need ever know
Aching happens silently
I'm alone when tears flowSadness follows despair
Spiralling into the dark
Glow fades into oblivion
Downhearted loses sparkMy pain was felt internally
As you ripped me apart
Scarred by your rejection
