FENG SHUI - THE WRONG WAY

Feng shui has been practiced all over the world for many years.

Here is a starters kit to begin your journey into harmonious living.

CANDLE - Provides atmosphere. Especially useful when used as mood lighting on the dining table. Guests can't see how bad the food looks that you are serving them.

SEEDS - Flowers attract friendships so plant these seeds in the garden and wait for people to gather round. If you provide outdoor seating you can further enhance feng shui inside your home by keeping it uncluttered and clean by not allowing there people inside.

FOREIGN COINS - Shows knowledge of foreign places and attracts wealth. Place in a glass bowl where visitors to your home can easily admire them. These people will then be fooled into believing you are much more well traveled and worldly wise than you actually are.

SMALL MIRROR - Mirrors are excellent in providing and reflecting light. However seeing yourself can be a scary experience so keep mirrors as small as possible and do not place at eye level.

AN UNUSUAL ROCK - This provides a focal point of interest and a topic of conversation. Try to place it at easy reach in your home, as it is also great for releasing stress - throw at whoever is annoying you!

PLASTIC CUPS STRAWS & STICKY TAPE - A water feature benefits any room but my budget didn't allow for one to be included in this kit. Please tap into your creative juices by designing and making your own.

MATCHES - Fire can be purifying and when all your bills and debts get on top of you fire can also be used to attain wealth. Set the curtains in your lounge room on fire and calmly watch as all the negative energy is dispelled, smile serenely as the fire trucks arrive and think of all the wonderful insurance money that will soon be yours.

CHOCOLATE - The best feel good tool legally available. Best when NOT shared. It can brighten your mood and provide comfort to your soul.

A PHOTO OF ME - The greatest feng shui in the world is to love and be loved, to feel friends accept and like you just as you are. So if this gift makes you smile then it has served its purpose well. The best gift I ever received was having you as my friend.

HOLIDAY BEAR

Buy a signature bear or make one from calico. Add a pen and notebook and give as a gift to an overseas visitor. To make it extra personal cover notebook in pictures of where they will be holidaying. Add poem:

This bear is for your holiday

for all you see and do

 write on him to remember

   the places special to you.

 As you tour Australia

you'll see things great and rare

capture them in your heart

and write them on this bear.

Enjoy your trip

 and treasure every day

and write in the book

things you'd like to say.

Years from now

your thoughts won't fade

as this gift will remind you

of the memories you made.
