Port Willunga - The beach at Port Willunga is one of the prettiest in South Australia with historic caves and the remains of the old jetty which have become something of an icon in this area. The Star of Greece Cafe/Restaurant is perched overlooking the beach and is just a short walk from the house. |

Aldinga - Aldinga Beach is one of the only drive on beaches within Australia. Large white sandy beaches surrounded by some of the most stunning hill scenery in the area make this a popular beach for families. Suitable for both swimming and surfing, and with a boat ramp from the beach this also makes for a great place for a spot of fishing. Aldinga Beach has an international off shore reef and is also home of the 'drop off', a popular spot for divers. Aldinga Scrub conservation park is located within a short drive overlooking the beach. |

McLaren Vale - this popular wine region & the historic Willunga township are only 10 minutes drive and both have excellent cafes/ restaurants/hotels. There are numerous cellar doors you can visit and morning markets in Willunga, the grower's market held every Saturday which has won the 2009 National Grower's Market award.
Port Willunga is also an ideal location from which to enjoy a trip to Cape Jervis (from which the Kangaroo Island ferry departs) or Goolwa. Victor Harbor with its unique horse drawn tram to Granite Island and the town of Stathalbyn is also approx 45 minutes from Blueseas Cottage along some of South Australia's most scenic routes. |
