A dangerous beast when attacking you.
Black and blue he'll punch your lights,
So best avoided in animal fights.
A mouse is a wee slickit coo'ring little beast;
In terms of harm, he'll do the least.

Don't dismiss wee ones out of hand
The meek and grey shall rule the land
With but one twitch of pointy nose
Elephants flee or in faint repose.

Faint elephants are a hazard to health,
To be approached solely by stealth.
To be underneath when one goes for eight
Is a rapid way to gain too much weight weight.

A single elephant wouldn't be too bad
If I were super strong and had
the power of superman or of Atlas
I could topple the beast and would be flatless.
