The past particible "lost" they will never say.

Claims that the map showed "left" not "right"
And that here it's a regular sight
to see a cow munching full its fill;
that the airport is "just over the hill"
or the cricket field "it's near"
anything but the truth dear.
Instead of these excuses freely tossed
I wish he'd just say "We're lost!"

Whither they go their confusion they reap.
To admit that they could conceivably be wrong
Is not in their makeup: we just go along
With their cursing and swearing - a woman's fate
Is to always arrive at the destination - Late!!!!
