Pick clothes and food off your floor,
So cockroaches won't come back any more.
[by Steve, Trigg ]
---
And if that reason won't suffice
Think of the rats and of the mice.
[Rhonda]
---
If you hear mice beneath your bed,
Throw them all a crust of bread.
[minnie]
---
If they threaten limb or life
Better throw a larger slice
If they threaten life or limb
Better give it all to them.
[Rhonda]
---
Hungry mice might chew off toes
If insufficient bread one throws.
[minnie]
---
One-toed Pete could tell the tail
Of rabid mice and lost toenails.
[Rhonda]
---
The three blind mice have lost THEIR tails
Throwing food to them sometimes fails.
Cannibalistic mice
Are not very nice.
[minnie]
---
But if you're an Arctic wolf or doggie
when eating mice you go whole hoggy.
[Rhonda]
---
if they eat mice with one swallow,
no longer is their stomach hollow.
[minnie]
---
But mice are such a little gulp
Whether eaten whole or pureed to pulp.
[Rhonda]
---
and if one still feels slightly hollow,
mice for entree, rats to follow.
[minnie]
---
And with such pleasant rodent fair
I will have to leave you there.
