How to get the Elusive Third Ending

Many of you have heard about the third ending. Here is how to play the game to get it. Wink wink nudge nudge ;-) (got that??)

OK, this is difficult but it is worth it. Play the game with these extra steps:

Find the CDs - since many of us are now just living here at 1st class forum and no longer actually playing the game, this will be somewhat difficult. But track down the dog or kid or whatever, pick the gum and fur off of them, shine them up and reinstall the game (just delete some of that business software that is cluttering up the PC to make room again - who needs spreadsheets and word processors and tax returns anyway?).

While you are still in "your lovely home" at the beginning, switch the tv to the public broadcast-ing station and copy down the words on the screen for later use. Also dig the change out of the sofa cushions - you should find two coins.

When you first arrive on the ship tip Krage with one of the coins (never mind the insult he gives, it WILL make him like you more).

When you are at the not-quite-pellerator off to the left of the abroretum entrance, put a glass of tomato sauce from the vending machine in SGT class into the tray. Place a chevron for the 1st class restaurant on the succ-u-bus and type the secret phrase from the television back at home (it is "rekcus yawaon"). The s-u-b should now swing aside and reveal the secret entrance to the plain pellerator with no plush cushions and only buttons.

The button on the right takes you directly to the restaurant kitchen. There you must compliment the chef-bot on his delicious mustard sauce and roast starlings (do NOT mention the puree). Once he is your friend, ask him for his famous recipe for Nose Pie, showing him the nose first. Since he now likes you, he will give you the last piece of one he already baked. Also while there, grab the rag which the bus-boy-bot drops into the soup, and pick up the carrot.

Go to the "nothing here really" wall opposite the elevators on the not-pellerator side. Try to clean the wall with the soupy rag. Krage will rush up and want to help. Give him the other coin and he will tell you the name of the insurance company which Brobostigon and Scraliontis hoped to bilk for millions.

Go to Marsinta and give her the piece of Nose Pie. She will upgrade you to Filthy-Rich Luxurious status and you can now access the Penthouse Suite.

See Nobby and give him the carrot. He will tell you a war story about himself and the bot who later became president of Greater Galaxy Insurance. Ask him "what was his name" and he will tell you "Spalgaria".

Go to the penthouse suite and phone the insurance company. Ask for Spalgaria. Claim to be Brobostigon and Say "I will sue". He will beg you not to and offer you a little something for your silence. He says he will send you a proposition for your silence right away.

Now go to the nearby solid gold succ-u-bus and press the new button "Receive from hyper-space". You will be given a certified letter which names you owner of the ship and gives you a small planet in the country and an unlimited bank account.

Assuming you have fixed the ship, now phone the captain (who has snuck back on board and is hiding in the other canal) and tell him to take you back home. On landing, you will see the fireworks, and credits roll.
