(Burgo's) Catch Phrase

"Australia's Catchiest Game Show" - Contestants win by matching the animations to well-known phrases.

Format

Based on the British show of the same name, the sole goal of the game is to guess a well-known catch phrase - using animated graphical clues which are provided. Contestants earn points by guessing as many of the puzzles correctly during the course of each round.

In the Australian version - there are up to four rounds played - where each round is given a monetary/point value for each correct answer. Generally - the values get higher as the rounds progress.

At the end of the main rounds - the contestant with the highest score goes on to play the Super Catch Phrase round - where the player attempts to answer questions from a 25 square grid - in such a way that they form a line of five answers which cross from one side of the grid to the other. Successfully achieving this results in the receiving of prizes. Contestants who successfully make it to the "Super Catch Phrase" round return to defend their title the following show.
