What are Personality Disorders?


Personality disorders are a form of mental illness in which extreme personality traits can hinder the person’s functioning in many situations. People with personality disorders often find it difficult to make and maintain friendships and close relationships.

 There are several different types of personality disorders, each demonstrating different “problem” personality traits.
