The basic attacks are Melee Weapons, Unarmed Weapons, Throwing Weapons, and
Missile Weapons. Attack talents in general are too specialized to allow
the user to modify his technique sufficiently to use combat options. (If
you _really_ want to be able to do so, make a knack.) Defensive stance can
be applied in almost every other situation other than moving at full
movement (you can't dodge while sprinting in a straight line).
The main reason for this is to prevent the 'defensive stand' (which
effectively negates all the penalties for being knocked down), but also
prevents silly options such as giving ground while knocked down, etc.
