They are unfortunately unable to do so adequately due to outdated laws either banning these pets or not allowing the proper vaccinations to be administered as would be in other sister countries of the world. Domesticated rabbits are a very minor risk in comparison to wild rabbits in regard to crop destruction,etc. They should not be included into the equation when calculating the requirement for myxo or any other rabbit vaccine. I don't think it's fair that he could get bitten by a mozzie & die just because he's a bunny - he's my best friend. People can have flu vaccinations, why can't bunnies? This is cruel, we can't do anything to help them, when they get sick they have to be put to sleep.
