Future Sea

Crashing, dancing, prancing waves
churns the souls of those Earth enslaves
unfulfilled desires to swim the seas
plague the terrestial souls with unease
longing for the water coolness / sea breeze
consoled by transient nature and brooding trees
land-locked to air and earth and fire
and unending passions of possession and desire
until air, age and destruction wreak havoc
returning land dwellers to the Earth's decay
while the sea is raging at wars far away
the land-locked fighting Earth; day after day
wars of man and animals and trees
wars against nature that spread like disease
and nature fights back with floods and fire
and global warming makes the Earth perspire
as the sea levels rise ; the polar-ice now fluid
time turns inwards past the time of the druid
life on Earth changes as the rivers swell
the Oceans turn Earth to a watery hell
too late the terrestials struggle in vain
the mighty oceans wash away their final pain.
