Former Hutch squatter Todd 'Henry' Rollings has his own touring entity which is the nerdily named Artax Entertainment in which the Rabbit helps out when needed. The aim is to bring good bands from both over east & overseas to play in Perth & regional WA. Past tours have included Samiam(usa), Smoke Or Fire (usa) Gaslight Anthem(usa), Against Me!(usa) x4, Hi End Audio(sa) x 2, A Death In The Family(vic) x 4 Bullet The Blue Sky(vic) x 4 and Away From Now(vic) x5, Unpaid Debt(nsw) x 2, Grand Fatal(nsw), I Killed The Prom Queen(sa), Leatherface(uk), Tom gabel (usa) ,Chuck Ragan(usa) Realist Few(sa)x2, The Draft(usa),Anberlin(usa)x2 the Horror Pops(usa),Champion, Betrayed, Internal Affairs, Crime In Stereo(usa) Strike Anywhere (usa) x2 & the amazing Sommerset(nz) x 4. Perth's own Grim Fandango and Melbourne's favouriteKill Whitey have released their long talked about split cd available from 1 October 2009 in stores through Poison City. West Coast/East Coast wizards have combined for 4 tracks each of great punk rock and indie swing and backward clothese shenanigans, in the vein of Archers of Loaf, Midway Still mixed with Small Brown Bike and the Uncle Tupelo, Hopefully you were cool enough to catch the tour in Brisbane,Newcastle, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth! if you didn't what's wrong with you? Super best friends unite!
The Critics Have released "Noise & Popularity" available from 1 October 2009 at all good record stores thanks to Poison City Distribution. The long awaited debut album has 12 classics capturing the bands amazing live sound and soaring vocals. These guys have played with just about everyone worth playing with from Against Me! to Gyroscope to Lawrence Arms and Tiger Army holding there own. Having played nationwide a number of times the guys will play dual launches in Melbourne and Perth, cant wait! Annoucement soon!
