The glittering promise; the cherished lolly; the one doctrine that must be right is the suicidal concept that salvation is inevitable. That salvation is secured. That the victory won by Christ over sin and death is so certain that we can safely forget to work for our own eternal salvation and that of our fellow-man, and to use this newly-discovered freedom and liberation so gained to switch instead to an earthly salvation from poverty, hunger, want and oppression.
But since that proves to be an impossible task if it is not undertaken by the heroic sacrifices demanded by the new Law of Love proclaimed on Calvary, the reality of this newly-found freedom very quickly degenerates to the selfish mandate to do as we please, and to guard ourselves against every kind of want.
It is this fatal switch of which the witches were chanting, the one which transfers the universal Redemption won by Christ for all mankind, (which makes individual Salvation possible on condition) to an inevitable universal Salvation, which would result in making the individual salvation unconditional and absolute.
It was for this reason that evolution was laid at the foundation of the notorious Dutch Catechism, and that it was forcibly introduced into every Catholic school, when the discredited doctrine was being discarded in ever-widening scientific circles. For Teilhardian evolution is being universally proclaimed as ending up inevitably in god-omega. And since we are all caught up in this so-called theistic evolution, for Teilhardian evolution is the Cosmic Christ, we all end up in god-omega with the Cosmic Christ, because Christ cannot fail to end up in God ...
What a tarot card upon which to bank ones eternal salvation ....
Thus it has come about that the World Council of Churches has turned itself into a huge salvation club with a fully paid-up membership, whose members have time on their hands to please themselves on the jolly cruise ship bound for eternity. And the Modernists have taken over this salvation cry, chanting everywhere in unison with the WCC: We are the Covenant people. We cant go wrong. Our salvation is secured. The old Church was severely mistaken on this point ... And this refrain comes through in almost every song in their song-book: As One Voice.
But what did Our Lord tell the startled Jews when they tried that same tactic on Him, in their rebuttal of Him and His teaching: We have Abraham for our father, as the reason why they should no longer have to listen to Him? This is what He said: You have the devil for your father ... You will die in your sin. (John 8:44).
His universal Redemption, which included all the Jews, did not turn out to be an inevitable salvation for these Jews! So, on Divine Authority, it is truly possible for redeemed people to die in their sins and to lose their eternal salvation.
And with this, with this colossal switch and its unholy conviction, the Modernists and their fellow-travellers in the WCC have truly embraced what Pope St. Pius X has singled out as being the synthesis of all heresies. For the root of all heresies. i.e. the two most ancient heresies known to the Church, Gnosticism and Manichaeism, both have in their make-up a dual system: the doctrine that next to the Catholic Church there exists a parallel or dual system of salvation, which will inevitably end up in what was in their days the equivalent of god-omega, but along a much easier road. And millions who have believed this message and who have shaken off the Cross, and have taken the easier road, either have perished or will perish. For all this is not different from the Jews who had severe difficulties accepting Our Lords teaching and sought refuge in the untenable creed that being a descendant from Abraham would prove to be a safe, parallel system ...
There is nothing automatic on the human road to eternity ....
So now that we have isolated the fundamental misconception of the WCC and its Modernist supporters, we can see quite clearly how perfectly all this fits in with their fundamental practice as described briefly in the Introduction ...
... then it follows quite logically for the WCC and their Modernist allies to embark on their fundamental practice which, as the One-World Church-in-formation, in essence comes down to this:
Have nothing to do with the pre-Vatican II Catholic Church nor with its post-Conciliar remnants. For this Church had somehow lost this exhilarating doctrine of the universality of individual salvation.
