The Australian Cavers Mailing List (Ozcavers) is run by Rauleigh Webb in Western Australia, with the aim of getting cavers communicating with each other on a regular basis about all matters caving! This list now offers members the ability to digest messages over a set period. For more information on Digesting Ozcavers send a message to ozcavers@iinet.net.au with just "Help" (no quotes) in the subject. This list allows those cavers with access to the Internet to communicate to all other cavers who wish to participate.
Rules
The list has the following simple "rules" which members are requested to abide by:-
1. Please do not send cave locations via the mailing list.
2. Please do not publish material distributed via the mailing list without the consent of the original author.
3. Please be courteous.
4. Any person placing defamatory information on ozcavers will be removed from the list.
5. Please do not forward messages recevied from ozcavers without the
approval of the originator of the message.
Send a message to the ozcavers list (ozcavers@iinet.net.au) with the word SUBSCRIBE or UNSUBSCRIBE in the SUBJECT of the message.
Changing email address
Please remember to unsubscribe (see above) with your old address PRIOR to subscribing as also described above.
If you are unable to un-subscribe for any reason please contact the list administrator and request the removal of your old email address.
To send a submission:
To submit mail to ozcavers you have to be a member of the list then you just address mail to:- ozcavers@iinet.net.au
Note that when you reply to a message that has come from ozcavers it is only sent back to the originator of the message not to the list.
To access the archive (messages previously sent out on the list):
Use the Search command by sending a message to the list (ozcavers@iinet.net.au) with the command SEARCH-xx (where xx is the number of days that you would like to search over) and in the body of the message place the text that you would like to search for!! You will receive all messages containing your search text during the number of days that you specified for the search period.

When you press the button your email address is validated against the existing list and if you are a member of the list then the list will provide you with a copy of the list members via email.
