Another goal by Griffith, but great pressure out of the centre led Alex McMaster to take a flying mark just a split second after the siren. At the end of the quarter Griffith had the lead by just 5 points.
The second quarter saw much enthusiasm from the team after the quarter time talk from Tim Carroll. Tom Handsaker scored a standout goal early.
This was followed quickly by another great kick from Tom Handsaker which Alex McMaster booted through in true AFL style.

On the advice of Coach Carroll to talk more, attack the ball and create contests, the boys went back onto the field firing.
A great team effort in the forward line to position the ball well, led to Jacob Hopper scoring a super goal.
All the boys started looking for each other to pass the footy and the ball flowed from player to player all around the ground.
While the majority of play was in our half, there were several missed opportunities with inaccurate kicking.

The final quarter saw Leeton kick the next goal which was a tricky kick along the ground.
Griffith retaliated quickly and scored a goal also. Jayden Lehman was on fire displaying some fantastic tackling, marking and shepherding skills, at one stage single handedly winning the ball from three opponents.
