The Junior Blue team and B Grade are straight through to the GF. Well done, enjoy the week off.
Bad luck to the Seconds and Junior Red who were both knocked out of the finals series last weekend. Congratulations on your achievements for the season.
This week the Preliminary Final will be played at Narrandera the Crows have the under 17’s taking on Wagga Tigers, the A Grade Netballers playing Turvey Park and C Grade against Wagga Tigers. Good luck to all.
Players to watch in the 17’s this week on the big ground are Grant Commins leading from the square he is an ominous sight in full flight, Jade Hart loves the wide open spaces, Duncan McMaster who has had a consistent finals series and the skilful hard running trio of Maguire, Gale and O’Callaghan.
Congratulations to Sophie Welsh and Briah Crowhurst for running 1 & 2 in the League Junior medal obviously they both have had outstanding seasons. Well done!
Well done to Claire Marks and Georgy Horton for running 2nd and 3rd in the C Grade competition.
Reece Maguire had an outstanding season in the under 17’s he played a couple of senior matches which hopefully will give him the desire to hold down a senior position in 2010.
Reece finished 2nd in the under 17’s league medal. Great work!
Paul Scoullar who was touted early in the season as a League Medallist ran out a convincing winner scoring 34 votes winning by a massive 15 votes.
Well done and thanks for your professionalism and performances throughout the year.
Assistant Coach Jarrod Gornall also polled well and finished 5th.
Jarrod also had a great year and it will be interesting to see who takes out the club B&F.
David Harrison polled well in the Two’s and finished 4th from not a great deal of games. Good work Hawkie.
Junior Presentation is on this Saturday night at the Soldiers Club.
Senior Presentation is on Friday the 25th September at the Soldiers Club cost $40 per head includes dinner and entertainment from TEEZ.
