For those not already aware, invitations to the launch of the DVD and the accompanying exhibition have been posted. The exhibition will contain artworks related to or inspired by the Motel project, as well as artefacts and models used in making the film. If you aren't on Turner Galleries’ mailing list, the opening starts at 6pm on Friday 9th October 2009. Come along and be part of a little slice of history. Should be a fun evening.

Copies of the DVD will be available for sale at Turner Galleries on the night for about the same price as a store bought DVD. The DVD is also available for purchase online (click on ‘Order Form’ to download a PDF from this site). Purchasers outside of Australia please be aware that the DVD, although region free, is in PAL format.

A limited edition booklet with images and text by Stuart Elliott has been produced for the exhibition. The booklet includes 5 short fictional renditions inspired by the individual films that make up ‘The Underpass Motel’. Stuart’s creative interpretation of the other artist’s work adds yet another level to this multi-faceted project. The soft-cover, 40-page booklet also contains 26 full-colour images of collages and paintings created by Stuart as accompanying illustrations for the text. The booklets will be available for purchase at Turner Galleries or via the order form on this site.
