Murphy's LoreBiographyCourtney was born on 20 November 1979 in the Armadale/Kelmscott Hospital. He is the youngest son of Kim and Norma Murphy and his two older siblings are Christopher, born on 25 March 1976 and Kieran born on 14 September 1978.The boys were close in age and became great mates as they moved from country town to town in their formative years, as their Dad was a policeman. The boys loved music from a very early age and loved to mime to their favourite records. Courtney started piano lessons at the age of 6 years and his brothers followed not long after. Later, when Chris decided guitar was his instrument and Kieran took to the drums, the boys realised they could play music together and started a band. Murphy's Lore was born with a friend and a cousin. With Courtney a pivotal member with his vocals and harmonies, he and his brothers have played music together since the early 90's. Other members of the band have changed over the years, but the Murphy boys have stuck together and have become a force to be reckoned with....
