Be Active Paddle Academy
The Be Active Paddle Academy is run by Canoeing WA which is the state canoeing association. It takes on group bookings from a wide range of interest groups, including schools and a proportion of the older community. At present the Be Active Paddle Academy runs Basic Skills Award lessons which enable participants to learn all the necessary skills needed to paddle.

Both Swan Canoe Club and Ascot Kayak Club have programmes for adult beginner paddlers as well as various other programmes for more advanced paddlers at various times.

Occasional courses are available.
Held at Ascot Kayak Club, Fauntleroy Ave., Redcliffe.

Juniors' Night at Swan Canoe Club
