Sunday, ?th September, 2006 Starts: 9 am, Collie Recreation Centre, Roche Park
Register from 7:30 am on the day

Location: Collie is 200 km south of Perth and 45km from Bunbury. It is surrounded by farms, forests and orchards. The picturesque course is undulating.

The Race:
5 or 6 stage marathon relay

ROAD CYCLE: 27 Km- Start at the Roche Park Recreation Centre, out to the PACFIC WESTERN power station and back. The course is hilly and scenic, all bitumen.
CANOE: 10 Km - Starts at the Co-op Bridge in the centre of town, goes to the Mungalup Road bridge then doubles back to finish at Minninup Pool. Flat water, no ti-trees, one compulsory portage around a weir. Surf skis ok.
HORSE RIDE: 15 Km- Along gravel and sand roads, some hills. Usual vetting procedures will apply.
SWIM: 1 Km - Wide open river pool, wetsuits and goggles ok. (starts 30 minutes after last ironman finishes equestrian section.
MOUNTAIN BIKE: 20 KM - A hilly course on a variety of surfaces. Mainly on old, unused tracks through Jarrah forest.
RUN: 11 Km - No hills. Some on paved surface, the rest on dirt track. Follows the river back to the Roche Park Recreation Centre.

The event is open to teams and iron persons.
The Horse section is optional.
Lunch break is between the horse ride and swim at Minininup Pool and Pony Club.

Entry 5 stage teams - $75; six stage teams - $90; iron persons - $60
