Dave Worthy
Not your average paddler! Dave Worthy is a veteran of nearly twenty Descents. He has won K2 class three times, mixed K2 once and K1 teams once, not to mention numerous other places over the years. His Down River successes at Nationals include a K1 first place and three K1 Teams first places. Perhaps his proudest paddling achievement is his bronze medal from the Commonwealth Games in 1982, held at Nymboida, NSW. Dave currently operates an adventure company, Rafting Wet n Wild. He has been teaching canoeing for many years.
Robyn Khorshid
Robyn is a former secondary school teacher with over a decade of all round paddling experience in most disciplines. She has written about paddling in Western Australia since 1994 having produced two of the state's canoeing magazines and is now the webmaster of "Canoeing in Western Australia".
