The Australian Outrigger Canoe Racing Association (AOCRA) holds events and regattas throughout the summer season up and down the coast and inland waterways from Cottesloe to Busselton. As a club we support two local events: the Busselton Festival Jetty Race and the Geographe Classic (67km Ocean Challenge from Bunbury to Busselton).

Training nights usually involve warm ups, a 5 to 10km paddle along the coast and around the jetty, and a chance to catch up socially afterwards. The club uses the facilities of the Geographe Bay Yacht Club including the bar which is open on Wednesday and Friday evenings. Saturday morning includes training in outrigger paddling techniques and an extended paddling session for those preparing for marathon events.

Socially, the club encourages a range of activities such as barbeques, full-moon paddles, quiz nights, Meelup family picnic, information and slide nights, and the legendary Augusta camping weekend.

Season starts November and concludes in April. Interested paddlers, visitors, and new members are welcome.
