Week 1/November

(just) in plastic canoes on weekend of 1st and 2nd November
(WRC level on internet was about 10.9m at Bridgetown) but not
for much longer - couple of weeks?

River, Boyanup - Bunbury
There's now <http://www.iinet.net.au/~rokhor/canoe/preston.html>some
notes on this paddle on the website, but you'll probably have
to wait for rain to paddle it. Thanks to Peter Fitzgerald and
playboater, Alex Fox, who enjoyed the wave at the Boyanup weir.

War
Games
Members of the Sea Kayak Club were surprised by four navy ships
AND a submarine speeding south whilst the paddlers were en route
to Rottnest on Friday morning. Not being sure if they were friend
or foe the paddlers decided to hide behind the 2m swells and
white caps until the flotilla had passed.
