Water level at Walyunga around 0.5m on the new gauge. Another fine day.

Rapid at Stronghill's Farm: only a small drop but a difficult passage in low/medium water. Most paddlers make a detour through ti-tree thicket to the river right above the rapid, thus bypassing the rocks.

Entering gap in ti-tree thicket just above rapid to get to river right.

Stronghill's Farm team changover point - it's about half way down the valley.

Downstream from Stronghill's Farm; the valley is at its most scenic.

Aren't they polite? Paddlers queue to take it in turns to run the main drop at Bell's Rapid which is out of the pic, just below the front paddler.

The last of the rapids of the valley: lower Bell's (also a team changover point).

Calm waters about half way through the Swan Valley: team changover at Sandalford Winery.

Finishline at Riverside Gardens, a few hundred metres upstream from the old finish line.
