Access: suitable for all vehicles
1 Upstream: follow Tinglewood Road for about 5 km to the Nuyts Wilderness Trailhead (suspension footbridge over the river) where there is car parking. It is possible to drive a short distance further on to a wooden bridge (which leads to private property) where there is also access to the river.2 Delta: Follow Isle Road for about 2 km until it forks - turn left when road forks for river access.
Paddling Notes
- scenic flatwater paddle
- either return trip or do a car shuffle
- river may be paddleable further upstream than the suspension bridge after good winter rains
- logs are likely to be encountered above suspension bridge in summer
- shallow water in some of delta channels; northern channel is the main one
