Descents, once finishing on a wave ski (1989). Prize winner
in 1998. (2nd Recreational Ski.)
- Paddled the Murray Marathon,
Victoria, in K1. Time 37hrs. (1992)
- Paddled a Klepper double sea
kayak across the Torres Strait from Cape York to Papua New Guinea
in 1994.
- Cycled solo from Fremantle
to Uluru via Kalgoorlie, Warburton and Docker River. Then home
via Coober Pedy, Kingoonya, Ceduna and the Nullabor. 5000 km
including 1500 km unsealed in 7 weeks. (1996)
- Paddled a sea kayak across
the Bass Strait from Wilson's Promontory, Victoria, to Tasmania
in 1998.
- Works in diamond exploration
laboratory for mining company. (Great access to maps for trip
planning.)
- Will drink the occasional
proffered Scotch (preferably Ballantines !)
