Competed in five Avon Descents, once finishing on a wave ski (1989). Prize winner in 1998. (2nd Recreational Ski.)
Paddled the Murray Marathon, Victoria, in K1. Time 37hrs. (1992)
Paddled a Klepper double sea kayak across the Torres Strait from Cape York to Papua New Guinea in 1994.
Cycled solo from Fremantle to Uluru via Kalgoorlie, Warburton and Docker River. Then home via Coober Pedy, Kingoonya, Ceduna and the Nullabor. 5000 km including 1500 km unsealed in 7 weeks. (1996)
Paddled a sea kayak across the Bass Strait from Wilson's Promontory, Victoria, to Tasmania in 1998.
Works in diamond exploration laboratory for mining company. (Great access to maps for trip planning.)
Will drink the occasional proffered Scotch (preferably Ballantines !)
