The
pressure vessel on the left was designed and manufactured by Rolliston
Engineering to client specifications and to satisfy the strict requirements of
the various Australian Standards and Statutory Bodies. Holding 2000kg of
anhydrous ammonia, this transportable pod is a good example of the variety of
work undertaken.
Rolliston Engineering also do a variety of mining work. This excavator bucket was rebuilt with a grille to separate rocks from sand.
The bucket below was brought in to have damaged teeth replaced and cracked welds repaired.
This seawater tank tower is located adjacent to the ocean and therefore had to be fully galvanized and designed to withstand the special environmental conditions incurred. The tower weighing some 40 tons, loaded, had to be built on the reclaimed land of Hillary's Marina giving special problems in stability and foundation design
