More History...
The factory was a former Haul-Pack workshop which was located on a disused mine site 300km from Perth. It was purchased at auction by Rolliston Engineering in the middle of 1998.
The entire factory was dismantled and packed into sea containers which were then transported to the Perth site.
Meanwhile the new site for the factory was being prepared on land purchased by Rolliston Engineering located at Enterprise Park in Wangara.
Solid footings were laid for the six 630UC that formed the primary frame of the workshop. The concrete slab was laid at the final stage of construction once the iron sheeting was installed.
The main columns were erected and the rest of the frame and cross-bracing soon followed.
In March, 2000 the new factory was open for business.
