Stop Press News from Roo Gully

At 4.30pm, on the 16th October
Arnie, who was the first joey to arrive this year,
hopped slightly the wrong way on the lawn during one of his playtimes,
which he loves so much,
and SNAP!!
He suffered a small fracture to his foot.

One of our vets, Graham,
examined Arnie and decided
against a heavy plaster cast, instead splinting
his leg with elastic Vet Wrap bandaging,
Arnie will be closely monitored to make sure his toe doesn't swell.

And if things don't look right he will be taken for further veterinary care.

In the meantime 'Nurse' Chloe is keeping a close eye on our newest patient.
