Budokan Academy

Budokan Academy Logo Budokan Academy teaches Jishukan Ryu Jujitsu (Jujitsu/Kempo/Jojitsu), Kendo, Iaido, Jodo, Tamiya Ryu Iaijitsu, Muso Shinden Ryu Iai and Shindo Muso Ryu Jodo from two dojos in Perth Western Australia.

Two non-profit organisations teach under the banner of Budokan Academy: -

Jishukan Ryu Jujitsu is a Jujitsu/Kempo/Jojitsu style from Yokosuka, Japan

The West Australian Kendo Renmei teaches Kendo, Iaido and Jodo

and as part of Budokan Bujitsu Australia: -

Tamiya Ryu Iaijitsu is taught to selected iaido students

Muso Shinden Ryu Iai is taught to selected iaido students

Shindo Muso Ryu Jodo is taught to selected jodo students

Iaido/Jodo are presently taught at the Shin Budokan in Wembley and Kendo/Iaido at the Curtin Budokan. Jishukan is taught at both the Curtin University and Tuart Hill.

Budokan Academy in Canning Vale is also the residence of the current President of the Australasian Martial Arts Hall Of Fame (AMAHOF), Sensei Ramon Lawrence.
