PREDECESSORS AND SHORT HISTORY: Bantva is a Jurisdictional Taluka, founded in 1733 as a result of a division of the Bantva district by Khan Shri Sherzamankhanji with his elder brother, who became the first ruler of Manavadar.   • Khan Shri SHERZAMANKHANJI SALABAT MUHAMMEDKHANJI, 1st Khan Sahib of Bantva 1733/1779, youngest son of Nawab Saheb Salabat Muhammadkhan Babi of Junagadh, married and had issue.

  • Khan Shri RUSTAMKHANJI SHERBULANDKHANJI, 6th Khan Sahib of Bantva 1888/1903, married and had issue. He died 3rd September 1903.

  • Khan Shri SHER BULANDKHANJI RUSTAMKHANJI, 7th Khan Sahib of Bantva 1903/1934, born 20th October 1862, succeeded 3rd September 1903, married 1stly, 1876, Nawabzadi Bibi Shri Taj Bakhte Sahiba of Junagadh, married 2ndly, married 3rdly, about 1891, a daughter of Khanzada Shri Bajinkhanji Jamiatkhanji of Bantva (see above), and had issue. He died 6th February 1934.

  • Khan Shri SHER KHANJI SHERBULANDKHANJI, 8th Khan Sahib of Bantva 1934/-, born 26th October 1892 (#5 p.326), he succeeded to the gadi on 6th February 1934 (#5 p.326), but settled in Pakistan after Independence, married 1st June 1913, Nawabzadi Bima Shri Husain Bakhte Sahiba, died 1946, daughter of the Nawab of Balasinor.
