A very big vastu-pujan ceremony was held on the occasion attended by approximately 10,000 people who represented every town and village of the erstwhile state of Devgadh Baria. According to the last wishes of HH Maharaja Jaideepsinghji, Tushar Singh was formally crowned as "His Highness Maharaja Saheb of Devgadh Baria" by his uncle and elders of the Rajput community and neighboring princely states along with representatives of all communities and village heads.
