                • Shrimant Lalsinh Rao Anand Rao Gaekwad, born 1892, educated at Oxon Christ Church (M.A.), was the GM Gaekwar Baroda State Railways and the Suba of Navasari (1937) and Mehasana (1934). He was also the Private Secretary to Maharani Chimnabai II and toured the Globe 7 times, married and had issue. He died 1968.

                • Shrimant Bhadrasinhrao alias Shanker Rao Anand Rao Gaekwad, born 1896, an illustrious Civil Servant of Baroda State, educated at Christ College Cambridge, he did his BAR in 1922, and started as a Probationer in Revenue Department under Maharaja Sayajirao III.  Rose very fast in the Gaekwad Royal Bureaucracy and became Suba, Sar Suba and then Karma Sachiv. He was awarded the highest Merit in Civil Service of Baroda State, "Rajya Karya Dhurandhar" in 1942, awarded the C.I.E. in 1944, Dewan of Baroda 1945/1946, married and had issue, two sons. He died 20th May 1946.
                  • Shrimant Veersinhrao Gaekwad, educated at Christ Church College in Oxford (M.A.), died unmarried in 1991.
                  • Shrimant Gautamsinhrao Gaekwad, born 1936,  educated in M.S. University (M.Sc. Botany), was a Professor in Faculty of Science, Botany Dept., till 1996. Remained Curator of Maharja Sayajirao Zoo for 25 yrs, has issue, one adopted son.

Benares Hindu University, installed on the gaddi on 27th may 1875, granted the title of Farzand-i-Khas-i-Daulat-i-Inglishia on 29th December 1876, investiture held 28th December 1881, educated at Rajkumar College, Rajkot and later in England, married 1stly, 6th January 1881, Maharani Lakshmi Bai (Chimna Bai I), born about September 1864, from the Mohite family, died 7th May 1885, married 2ndly, 28th December 1885, Maharani Gajra Bai (Chimna Bai II) C.I., born 1871, died 1958, daughter of Bajirao Amritrao Ghatge of Dewas, and had issue. He died 6th February 1939 and was cremated the next day at Baroda.

      • Major Maharaj Udaysinghrao Shivajirao Gaekwad, born 11th June 1918 in Baroda, educated at the Prince's School, Baroda, B.A. (Cantab) Jesus College, Barrister Middle Temple, London, Indian Military Academy, commissioned in the 5th Royal Lancers Indian Army, served in Singapore during WWII, Chief Dignitary Representing the Maharaja Bahadur in 1946; married 1942, Ranisaheb Shrimant Sharda Raje, daughter of Sardar Patankar of Kolhapur State, and had issue, one daughter.     • Chote Sarkar Udaysinghrao Patankar, married 26th February 1993 in Mandi, Rajkumari Sidheshwari Kumari, born 14th January 1967 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, daughter of HH Raja Sri Ashokpal Sen of Mandi, and his wife, HH Rani Sahiba Kiran Kumari, and has issue, one daughter.

  • Shrimant Pilajirao Vithalrao Gaekwad, son of Shrimant Vithalrao B. Gaekwad, Mandvie, Baroda, educated at Harrow School 1901/1905
  • Damajirao Vithalrao Gaekwad, born 10th December 1894, B.A. (Hons. Oxon.), Comptroller of the Household to HH the Mahraja of Baroda 1939/-, educated at Baroda, Manchester Grammar School and Exeter College, Oxford; Naib Sarsuba 1928, married 1920 Sushila Bai, daughter of Sardar Ramchandra Rao Bhajji Ghatge of Akalkot.
  • Krishnarao Mahipatrao Gaekwad, married and had issue.
    • Bhaurao Krishnarao Gaekwad, born 15th October 1902, married 1stly Sitabai, 2ndly Gitabai, and had issue. He died 13th March 1972.
  • Devyani Devi (sister of HH Maharani Shanta Devi Saheb), married 1937, Chandrasenrao Gaekwad, and had issue. She died 29th June 2002 aged 82, cremated 30th June at Kirti Mandir.
